He did her in the novel and it said that he only released her until sunset, she was also exhausted to the point the servants had to support her to return to the palace 😬
I remember reading a book in which Knight and Queen had segs in Throne Room on rulers throne, it was the hottest thing I read. Based on spoilers, it seems like same thing happened here too but we were robbed. 😭😭😭
Am I the only one who feel bored by ml's constant complaining about his boredom😶if it's done correctly it would hit the spot but this is not it. Hopefully it won't continue through out the story.
okay. i thought the whole bored and dull schtick was kind of ... flat negl. but huh. i mean im still not fond of it but the empror is more savvvy than i expected. he isnt just holding onto things by fear, he saw exactly what they were doing. i had wondered if he would buy their 'we have no person interest in bringing this to you' -- i figured he might bc he probably didnt care to remember who their daughter was/what their past agendas had been. but it seems i read him wrong. i also like that you can see how tense sshe is. she guards her body from him, she often looks wary. she's sharp thinking and that means she's sharp enough not to let a few successes go to her head. also i like that her knowledge of the story means sh ecan read HIM. often the FL seems to remember bg and money making details [and obsess about how people SHOULD be] but they never use that SHOULD be and what they know for their benefit. im sure there will be parts of him that even she might not realize bc now he's a 'real person' but having her understand the protags more clearer - beyond basic motivations - than others is refreshing.
Honestly in her position. I'd just say to his face "So I'm either dead now or dead later, but either way I'm dead so there's no point in obeying or entertaining you? Fuck it where's the wine and incidentally take off your shirt."
