I love how this manhwa discusses sensitive issues in society.
From sexually transmitted disease to mental illness.
Unfortunately, people like Carcel's butler do exist especially during the olden times when they view mental illness as some sort of madness, witchcraft or even possessed by demons.
I appreciate how Raul(?) defended Ines by letting him know of her good character and at the same time reminded him that he, himself, is vulnerable and should stfu on judging his mistress like some kind of animal.

Ines is surrounded by people who truly cares for her which is what she truly needs given her condition.
I love how this was not treated lightly and Carcel showed his honest concern for her wholebeing.

Remember this month is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Mental illness is not a character weakness.
Self-care is important. Do not suffer in silence. 💕

Hell yeah fuck the butler, he has no clue how much escalante loves ines. If escalante heard what the butler said, he’d definitely be fired or even worse

like mother, like son. i feel like raul is ines and carcel’s child in another universe lmao i love how raul and carcel would protect ines to the ends of the earth.

To hell with the butler, but at the same time you can't really blame him. As much as i hate to admit it, his loyalty towards Carcel is something understandable, of course being his butler and all. The only thing is that he's closed his mind in considering mental illness and thought of it as something negative that could being shame to the Escalante family, more so to Carel. And Raul being loyal to Ines, backing her up and worries for her has the same loyalty he shows as the butler. It's just that both of them don't see eye to eye on the issue at hand- being Ines' current mental state.

What's even harder is that the current setting is within a society where it is a shame to be weak in mind. Carcel and Raul understand that, and they both agree on it. On the other hand, the butler and Ines sort of have the same mindset that their illness is nothing at all and that it could trample on the pride of the family they serve and the current status they're in.

This manga has such a good read tackling issues and letting us see different perspectives of the characters and how they deal with it- not to mention the whole plot itself and the art. Just absolutely gorgeous!!!
